Une nouvelle version d’AirOS est disponible depuis quelques jours en Beta test : elle permet d’utiliser les “anciens” modules Ubiquiti à la norme 802.11a ou 802.11b/g avec un point d’accès Airmax, ce dernier devant toutefois disposer de la version 5.5 du firmware AirOS.

Known Issues / Warnings:
- Auto ACK is not currently supported in AirMax client mode — please always use static ACK for AirMax client mode!
- Please check your Country code before FW update. After FW update your country code will be locked.
- AirSync mode is not supported due to HW limitations
- AirMax AP mode is not supported due to HW limitations
- Long range PTP functionality is not supported due to HW limitations
- 2.4GHz AirMax On might have slightly lower throughput than AirMax Off when testing to a single client, but overall performance of the PTMP network should be higher with AirMax On
- GUI: Logo Customization is not functional
