Le nouveau firmware 3.3beta d’Ubiquiti est disponible ici, attention à choisir le fichier correspondant à votre matériel, en regardant bien le nom du fichier proposé.

Les nouveautés annoncées sont, en anglais :

– fixed NonErp check logic, this prevents G mode half and quarter rates from using protection which is totally superfluous.
– fixed rate selection for fixed data rates.
– fixed PPPoE sessions expiration issue in STA Bridge mode.
– fixed static wds nodes mixing with sta nodes issue
– fixed problem with gone AP when STA goes RUN->ASSOC->RUN and no packets can flow and after STA disconnect AP gets OOPS.
– fixed channel reporting when available channels list is bigger than 32 entries.
– optimized rate algorithms. Specially for EWMA.
– added workaround for HW issue. Disconnect if we do not hear probe responses for long time from AP, could be that AP is gone but HW is not signaling about beacon miss.

– added switch off Signal LEDs after unexpected disconnections (Station time outed or AP gone).

Note: these beta firmwares are FOR TESTING ONLY and CAN NOT be redistributed or used for public usage.

La note finale devra retenir votre attention : c’est un firmware encore en test, à ne pas utiliser sur un réseau déjà existant selon nous, pas tant qu’une version définitive ne sera pas annoncée.

Toutefois, pour l’avoir implanté sur nos Nanostation 5 de test, il se comporte parfaitement bien pour le moment, nous n’avons pas encore trouvé de bug.
